Looking for an variable 3X9 optic for my DD M4-V7, Accupoint a good choice.

I've got a deal lined up for this scope, but have little experience with it and cant find one on the shelf locally. Any help is appreciated.
I'm looking to see just how far I can reach out with my new rifle. Is this a quality optic with the capability to perform out to 500 yds?
    Thanks.

I have a Leupold MK 4 2.5-8 on my V11. It takes practice, but getting hits at 500 on a 12" gong isn't hard, you just have to know your rifle, scope, and ammo well enough.

I would recommend Leupold over trijicon but that's more personal preference than actual physical differences in the optics.

The Accupoint series are good scopes and I think it's a reasonable choice. Be aware that the tritium will go dark in 10-15 years depending on the color you chose, and getting it recharged costs hundreds of dollars.

Depending how good your deal is, you might want to compare it to the Cabela's Special Leupold VX-R 3-9x40 that is currently $500:

Went with the Leupold Mark 4 3.5 10X40mm LR/T Matt Mil Dot instead.
    Thanks
