    No, as said, if you have the right tools it's easy. The part which stressed me out was removing the front sight base pins. That was much easier than I thought it would be.

    Very nice thing to do for your brother. I love the look of the long rails on these guns. That was the first thing I did when I bought my first AR and my current build will be sporting the same 15" BCM alpha rail. Not to mention the longer sight radius helps accuracy when using irons.
