    My dad picked one up yesterday at Cabela's Hazelwood. He shot it today and we'll go out again this weekend. I'll post a range report

    This gun has me interested.

    From the videos it seems that the mags don't drop free. This bothers me. Other than that, the gun looks good. I'd really like to handle one in person.

    Sample of one, but my father's DD5 pops a PMAG out no problem.

    I think the biggest improvement that DD did on this was to elongate the cam pin track on the carrier, then made the extractor pin with a leg so it stays retained in the bolt bore of the carrier.

    They spent a long time fleet testing the guns to make sure they actually work before releasing them, even to the point of not making a submission to CSASS, tempting as it was.
