Congrats on that purchase. I traded a .41 Blackhawk for a Stainless Super Single Six 6.5" about 25 years ago. I had the barrel trimmed to 4 5/8" and carry it about in a Thad Rybka holster. It's about as good as it gets. Killed many a grouse and ptarmigan with it.

I am at the point I am cutting loose more guns than I buy! Pistol wise if I have a deep cover gun, edc carry gun, a 4" revolver for ppc matches and .22 and centerfire guns for bullseye and a couple cowboy action revolvers, that is really all I "need". Of course I have a bunch more but stopped "collecting" or "accumulating " and now just keep what I need to shoot.
Everyone gets to a point in life ( happily) when very little we do has anything to do with "need"
