Surefire dg switches.

I did my best to find this answer on Google.

There are a handful of dg switches for the Surefire x300u on any particular 1911.

I own a smith and Wesson 1911 e-series. I'm curious which category that falls in? Which dg switch should do the trick??

Surefire seems to have two switch models, a DG-18 and a DG-18A.

My Googling failed also from there. I'd call &/or email Surefire to hear from them what the differences are with those two railed-1911 switches.

Do let us know what those differences are as it isn't the first time I've heard a similar question as this come up.

The 18 is for standard under the trigger guard radius guns like the SAs. The 18A is for higher/smaller radius like Kimber etc.
