Body armor cuts options/opinions

Is there a durable (drop proof/idiot proof) plates that aren't ar500 that need reasonable aka not velocity's price?

just wanted to say thanks to everyone that gave their experience/opinion. unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it) Its finally time for me to get a new Chainsaw now and that puts the body armor on hold.

LOL!! Cant help myself. The new 550xp is a super light 50cc saw that has GOBBS of power in the ranges of 60cc saws. Sorry, lets not turn this into a GD thread about saws.
