I'm interested for sure. A 16" continous taper mid length gas, with that hand guard looks nice. That gas system length and barrel taper make far more sense in a 16" bbl than a carbine length gas and government profile. Will the longer gas system make me into a super cool ninja operator? Nope, but I can still enjoy the slightly softer and slower recoil impulse, and maybe have a bit more bolt and extractor longevity over the life of the upper.

They were junk and not actually made by Colt.

Probably because it's a new model. Considering where I first saw it, I am inclined to say it is what it is.

Since it's somewhat related, are they making a decent number of 901s? I havnt seen them in stock for a year iirc, anywhere.

The picture from a random Instagram I've never heard of doesn't exactly give confidence.

Next somebody's going to tell me they're going to start making Diamondbacks and pythons again and then I'm gonna s#*% bricks... That is if they have finally come around and started listening to their customers.
