Yes, I was bored. But, I was pleasantly surprised by this one. It's got teenage angst, with the bully, the nerd, the mean girl, the jock, etc, decent story line and character development, and excellent CGI. Similar mindless fun to Transformers. C+

I want to see Kong Island also. My son said it was ok but not great though. Along the ape lines I want to see the new Planet of the Apes movie. Might do that this weekend
