Yeah, i just read that somewhere. I didn't know that. The imi is m193, and i understand, first quality ? But this men stuff is cheaper than the imi, so i think I'll order some. You guys aren't helping my financial situation. My wife is going to kill me. Lol 😁

While you can surely kill "something" with the M193, it isn't the best choice as a defensive round. So really no need to gel test it IMHO.

Just wondering because you said you feel it's the best 193 out there. Was just wanting to see how it fragmented.

When we talk about "best" with ball ammo, it has more to do with the quality of the components and accuracy (not fragmentation).

Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland have many products in the "shooting" category I would consider 2nd to none.

A long time ago when 7.62 x 51 was still very cheap I remember discussions regarding German 7.62 NATO. I only had experience with the DAG headstamp and not MEN but both were considered to be very, very accurate.

The DAG had the bonus of extremely thin jackets that led to nice fragmentation from what I remember 15 years ago.

Definitely picking some of this up for the stash.
