If anyone can get a M193 load to shoot half inch groups at 100yds, please show us!

I'll try to get some to do so. I have a couple gas guns and a bolt gun , that if possible, they should give it a solid chance.

Yeah. The only 55 gr I've ever seen capable of sub MOA is VMAX. Pappabear has the most accurate bolt gun ever made. If this ammo can do it, his gun will be up for it.

Anyone have opinions on the MEN 7.62x51? I'm curious how the 5.56 quality carries to other calibers.

I pulled one round apart to see what was going on inside. It appears to have about 42.0 grains of a fine ball powder, a 147 gr ball projo, and a boxer primed case with a relatively small flash hole and neck sealant. The round I pulled didn't require much effort with the inertia puller. Sample of one... but doesn't seem like there was much neck tension at all. I have to whack away at my rounds, and they have heavier bullets.

If affordable DAG or MEN surplus 7.62 became available again I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I'm still shooting vintage surplus of both, and on another precision forum folks were finding it shot 3/4 moa fairly reliably.

I know my (sorely missed) HK 91 loved it, and I shot many battle packs of it.
