    Surefire discontinues Z26 lanyard ring

I just bought a new Surefire P2X Fury and went onto the web in search of a Surefire Z26 lanyard ring to attach to it. The Z26 fits all the lights with 1" tailcaps IIRC (G2L, C2L, Z2L, G2X, 6PX, etc). What I found is that no one seems to have them in stock. I called Surefire CS and was told that the Z26 ring and all lanyards containing it have been discontinued in an effort to reduce the number of SKUs, and that there is no Surefire substitute/replacement part.

Does anyone know of an acceptable non-Surefire substitute for the Z26?

    Is this the right model?

I thought I had more but only found 3 more lanyards without rings. They must be somewhere or sitting on an old light...

Let me know if you want it!

I use the rings, they are GTG, but had terrible luck with the quality of the lanyard hardware. Anyone else have the lanyards fall apart/fail?

Longshot? Just went partially though the process of purchasing the Z26 to see if it would ever give an "out of stock" msg. Never got the msg. The item is 5.00 but shipping to Alabama is 14.00 and change. No idea what these cost prior to production shutdown.

What Surefire doesn't get is some people actually use their lights besides looking tactical on the internet.

Has anyone tried using the RCS Light Clip and replacing the rubber ring with 550 cord?

Gents... I DONT KNOW if itll fit your specific light... but checkout Raven Concealment...they make a clip that to me looks like the one in the pic. Its $14.95.
Got a couple myself, they are very well made.
