    VA Shooting range

Moving to the Norfolk area next spring. What are good shooting ranges to get a membership to within 45 minute drive? Any info appreciated

I just moved here myself; from what I have seen, Colonial Shooting Academy is good for an Indoor range, and I have trained at C2 Shooting Sports before. They are good for your outdoor range needs.

C2's longest section is 300 yards.

C2 will be your best bet. This is one of the few public outdoor ranges around and, as mentioned, out to 300m. The majority of them are private around here: Norfolk County Rifle Range, Lafayette.

Quite a few indoor options: Bob's, Superior Pawn and Gun, Camp Allen (available to mil and civvies), The Marksman, Colonial Shooting Academy.

There is an app in the android store (not sure if Apple has it) called where to shoot, it lists all known public ranges sortable by location.

Confirmed that Apple Store has that app (free). Thanks for the heads up!
