I read somewhere that bcm was going to make cheek risers (proper term?) for their stocks, hence it's called mod 0 as it stands now. That looks like a Magpul with keymod, neat.

Have the B5 handguard with KeyMod on a BCM mid-length upper and love it. Look forward to see what they've cooked up.

It could be (well at least I do hope so) that, contrary to Magpul's, the new BCM hand guards let you mount stuff on the 12 position, not one the sides only.
That would allow for (for example) ATPIAL on the 12 (vertically) which I had been wanting to do with my Magpul SL hand guards and couldn't do.

That's much likely why it hasn't happened with Magpul and more probably (even looking at the picture above), is not going to happen with BCM as well.
