per Andrew @ Surefire (on LAV shot show Surefire video) the scout intellibeams only dim down to 200 lumen minimum.

I called TNVC last week trying to order either a m300 or m600 in tan and was told that the tan models were discontinued.
I like my rifles like my women - short, light, fast, brown, and suppressed.

Is the Surefire xc1 currently only offered in black? I've been looking around for a tan but can't seem to find one.

The only thing I can come up with is that they weren't selling enough to justify the lack of economy of scale.

I heard it was because the process for doing aluminum in FDE produces an inconsistent result, like what we see from Daniel Defense and Geissele.

I liked the tan Surefires and the inconsistent color never bothered me a bit.

I think Surefire is making a bad move, with Streamlight picking up the slack by offering more models in FDE. I won't quit Surefire and go to Streamlight, but they're gonna lose some sales to 'em....

Yep. I ordered a scout light during their Black Friday sale by calling directly. The guy I spoke with told me they discontinued tan and when I indicated that was disappointing he told me I could rattle can the black ones. Lol! I like their products but they do seem to be out of touch and moving backwards on this one.
Before you suggest that licensing, background checks, or other restrictions for the 2nd Amendment are reasonable... Apply those same ideas to the 1st and 4th Amendments. Then tell me how reasonable they are.

I've never noticed any inconsistencies in their color.
