I finally got 231 shooting for me. Anything from 4.6-4.9gr shoots to the same point of aim, and groups in solidly under 1" at 25yd (10 shots) if I use a nice firm crimp. I normally go light on the bell and crimp to maximize brass life, but 231 really likes it firmer. These are coated bullets, 158gr from Missouri Bullet Co.

I suspect Unique would work well with a heavier crimp as well, but this load is shooting great and I have a ton of 231 around (actually HP-38), so I'm done! It always feels good to finally get a load working really well.
