Tools needed to bulid an AR-15

I am thinking of bulding my own AR, but never having done it before I have a couple of questions. What tools are required and is there a refrence manual to show you how it is done?
    Thanks

    John,

You may want to search the AR General discussion area as there is a thread there that covers most if not all of what you just asked.

I like this book. I had already built several (started in 94 with a bushmaster vhs tape and no tools! ) before I got it but it shows step for step including many tips and it shows all the parts and stuff so you can match up springs etc.

This is not a plug for midway, was just the first link to it that Google showed
