What do you think of El Chapo raid?

Last week's Mexican Marines SF launched a raid on drug cartel leader's hideout. The following is a video of some of the action.

What do you guys think of this? What did they do right and what was done incorrectly?

Other then the squad leader repeatedly giving the same order and nobody listening, we can't really say much. They did a good job, and only took one casualty.

You can definitely see differences in MOUT techniques. Instead of the American constant flow method they use the isrealis "fight from the door" method. Kills momentum.

I guess with their level of training, it makes sense for the deliberate approach. Slow and steady. Only problem is you have to have an airtight cordon, their HVT almost escaped, only through luck was he captured.

We have learned through long, hard, deadly experience that speed is a big plus. The more speed, the less violent acts and the less chance for them to have time to inflict casualties. It all comes back to the OODA loop. As speed and surprise diminish, more violent acts need to be committed.
