" Nil desperandum - Never Despair. That is a motto for you and me. All are not dead; and where there is a spark of patriotic fire, we will rekindle it. "
- Samuel Adams -
I have to work on my communication skills, the ugh was referencing the previous post where someone mentioned they liked the Brownell's NDS A1 uppers. I was trying to point out that this build also used A1's. I luv me some A1 and wish there was more of it.
Course my first service rifle was a GM Hydramatic.

That's pretty much exactly the retro clone I've been thinking about trying to build. Probably couldn't do it for much less than the street price will be on the Troy.
I think it's really cool Troy is doing this. Hope to see some more repros and clones from them
The Troy rifle looks great, put the lower looks like the new A2 version; I wish they would make the early GAU-5 version without the fence guard
I went ahead an got on their list.
My brother saw Deliverance and bought a Bow. I saw Deliverance and bought an AR-15.
They used a M16A1 style lower without the A2 reinforcements, and I finally watched the promo video, they should have made clear that the Son Tay raid was the largest POW rescue attempt of the Viet Nam war, The Great Raid of WW II was larger I do believe.
I really want one of these.
