Sure. I'm using the spur mounts because they have a lot of options but you can use most of the mounts that were intended for red dot. No pics handy now as I'm on my phone. Just make sure you clear the bell or you will spray light everywhere

i can't tell what scope mount you're using but consider something like this:

replacement top half of ring that lets you mount the PEQ above and clear the bell. note: the additional height over bore could be good or bad depending. it will mean hold over up close is more than the "hairline" but it also means something like a 50 yrd zero would keep the bullet within 3" of the laser out to 250 yrds or so. (guessing as i don't have exact height on that thing.

or you could do something like this... which would just go around your scope tube and put a pic rail at whatever angle you wanted. (not this particular one which is just a
crappy pic i just found on google images, but you get the idea.)

I also have one of these and put it on a rifle upper receiver so it wouldn't be subject to flexing rail and it accomplished that. if you're using designator only that's fine, but if you turn on the IR flood it will splash off the long rail in front and be a mess.

I'm using a bobro mount. I don't think there's anything that would replace the top ring, and there's very little free space to mount anything on the scope itself. I do really like this idea though, and hope I can figure out a way to make it work.

Just want to kind of finalize this thread. My goal from the onset was to shoot 4" gongs at 600 yards.

Today, I went 12 for 15. I will readily admit there was almost no breeze whatsoever, but that's not my fault.

Most guys that win our 600y gong matches get 13-15/15 hits, so I am very content. I greatly appreciate all of the advice that everyone gave me for this build. I wouldn't change a thing, and couldn't have done it without all of the contributions.

    Thanks, it felt great.

It looks the same as it did in Post #161 except it's got an ATPIAL-C on the 3:00 rail and an ADM QD bipod mount (I never remove the bipod, but the legs of the Atlas were pressing against the ATPIAL when aiming on a cant) I'll try to get a pic up but it rains every.single.day.all.day.long. I was lucky to get some range time today.

I'm warning you, that no matter how good a shooter you think you are - semis aren't bolts. There is an issue of follow-through that largely does not exist in a bolt gun and matters greatly with a semi. I've seen EXCELLENT shooters struggle to hold 2MOA when switching back to a semi-auto after awhile.

I'll tell you exactly what's going to happen...
