Thread: Arisaka or Arson Machine?

    Arisaka or Arson Machine?

I recently took the plunge into M lok with a Midwest Industries rail. I'm now looking at M lok light mounts and ran into these 2 mounts. Has anyone used these mounts before? Also how will do they fit on the 45 degree sections at the 11-1 o'clock with the Pic rail at the 12 o'clock?

I would contact Slippers on this forum as he's the owner of Arisaka Defense and could probably help you out, also I would do a search on this forum for both Arisaka and Arson Machine to find more info. on both.

I haven't used Arson but I've got a few pieces of Arisaka kit and it's very well designed and made. The offset ring mount I have probably wouldn't work at an 11 slot but their inline would probably work perfectly.

I used the Arson mount, until the Arisaka 1" inline mount came out. The Arson is a sturdier mount overall, but it did not tuck the light close enough to the top picatinny rail to my liking.

Here are a couple pics of the Arson mount, then one of the Arisaka. But nothing real telling.

Does the Arisaka use the same allen wrench on all three screws?

That sucks, I was hoping to be able to carry just one allen wrench to add/remove the mount, and light from the mount.
