    What makes it "training?"

Its probably the same exact load, but with a cheaper bullet.

Looks like the T2 or some variant, and not the "SBR soft point".

Looks to kinda have a more similar profile to the new SBR round but this is an FMJ for "training"

I'm not sure what the deal is with manufacturers of ammo like this. They all tend to run slow. Gold Dots too.

What for? Speer 75gr, compared to my 77gr TMK handloads, are 100 FPS slower when fired out of the same rifle.
Why do the loudest do the least?

Went to a Hornady demo on the terminal ballistics of the Critical Duty and TAPS rounds, Seems the way they described this round is purpose built for SBR so that all the powder burns in the space of the short Barrel, You don't get the flash without a suppressor or the excessive residue in full power load and buildup in suppressors. The build of the round is to also meet FBI protocol. Says its best for 10.5 to 11.5 inch barrels.
The training round was built to the same standards, same POA/POI just a different bullet.

Finding a quick burner powder with a good flash suppressant would be ideal,i have tried data 2200 but get quite a bit of flash in anything less than 16" barrel, being a surplus powder and not a "tactical" powder it had more flash than i wanted.
Why 2200 because the load data was there and i have a bunch of it.

It was mentioned earlier, but does anyone have a sticky to The List (for handgun and carbine loads)? My search-fu has sucked, and I haven't been able to find Dr. Roberts' list of approved loads. Does such a thing exist for 30-caliber rounds too (7.62x39, 7.62x51, 30-06)?
