    Suppressor covers

I am looking for feedback from users on which suppressor cover they prefer. The three I am looking at are:

    Rifles Only HAD
    https://www.riflesonly.com/pro-shop/...cover-had.html

    Griffon Industries HMMS
    http://www.griffonindustries.com/pro...or-hmms-01.htm

    Cole Tac HTP
    http://www.cole-tac.com/shop/htp-cover

They are all rated to 3000 degrees. Price is not really a factor. The Cole Tac straps look to be better than the cord on the other two.

Anyone have any input as to which one is better or they prefer? Any other options?

    Thanks.

I have no experience with the three mentioned but I do have two mirage covers made by Elite Iron. Elite's like a cross between the cole-tac and the other two as it has straps at both ends and cord wrapped across the entire length. My two covers live on two suppressors full time and have held up the better part of five years now. Still going strong and look like the day I purchased them, only a little dirty.

    Suppressor covers

I have a Griffin HMMS on a Saker 556 can. Works great. Here's a pic.

I have two of the hADs. I like them. No issues handling hot can. They are built to last

I just used a Bowers SupCov in a carbine class. I like it. It did not slip, but it got a bit longer when it heated up. It grew about a quarter inch. Once cooled, it returned to its original length. It never got hot enough to burn skin or melt clothing.
I'm using it on a SilencerCo SpecWar 556 on an 11.5 inch carbine.

I saw these and while not a fan of the aesthetics, the price is good and it looks like the ribs would help the suppressor cool faster.
    Thanks for the feedback.

Right now I am leaning towards the HAD and Cole Tac. The HAD has the most "good reviews" of the two and I really like the straps on the Cole Tac. I don't really see what the Griffon offers for the extra cost.

Looks good, but only rated to 1200 deg. I am not using too much magnification on the carbine, so mirage isn't really a concern. The main thing I want is something to protect the can and me from burns.

    Thanks for the suggestion though.

In our testing, the Manta did the best for heat and mirage.
