Really nice back up rifle I like it, how do you like the fortis rail?
Not to hijack your thread but I also placed two orders with BFG yesterday for the kryptek padded sling and the non padded black bickers sling, but I haven't received any email notifications of my orders yet, the FNG did you?

I wish they had a better way to prevent it from canting up. I had to put a business card between the rail and the upper to prevent it. But other than that I like it a lot. Very light and fits my hand perfectly. Can't ask much more of it.

A backup gun makes sense for a lot of reasons including fun.

I appreciate it. My go to is a 14.5" middy with a BFH barrel, but I think I'm starting to like this one a tad bit more. The 16" middys seem to shoot softer. I actually ended up stripping the pistol grip screw hole and replaced the lower with a Ballistic Advantage. They're super nice compared to the Anderson ones, everything fit perfectly and the machining is first rate.
