The .45 can on a 9mm host might not create enough backpressure to necessitate new locking pieces and rollers. Be careful with commercial American parts.

I would shoot it first and see how it does.

Next time out I will try 124gr with the "suppressor" locking piece. It should add a little more mustard to the equation. I know that running unsuppressed, with 147gr, with the #28 LP installed, was pushing the envelope. I just wanted to see if it would feed and if it made round holes before attaching a suppressor.

How short can you go? You could add an A2 stock adapter and use the fixed A2 stock. Would be better than the brace and about the same footprint.

We need our SBRs to hit 29" and even the MP5 falls short with an A2 or F stock. Guys are using AR adapters and stocks to meet the requirement for MP5s, but no real options for K guns outside of permanent suppressors.

My 9" 300blk AR barely gets there with the Vltor A5 and a specific Magpul stock. Its crazy but even the ATF will deny your Form 1 if write down a length shorter than 29".

A guy on the Maryland forum made a telescoping buttstock but he said it was too short for a K.

Good grief. So slightly off topic, an AUG with 16" barrel is a no-go in MD. Back on topic, I think you could easily make an AR stock adapter, but why even bother. A 29 inch OAL "SBR" is not really worth it in a mp5.
