Surefire M600 Ultra Scout Light Mount

Mounting to 1913 rail. What do you guys prefer? I don't care about QD just want low profile/low real estate on rail. Is the thumb screw mount that it ships with sufficient?

    The thumbscrew works okay.

I use HSP Thorntail/Thorntail SBR mounts, and I'm more than content with that for applications where sticking the light at 45° matters.

Thanks boss. Anyone else have a favorite 1913 mount or input/opinion on the supplied thumb screw mount?

The stock mount is good enough, but not very low profile. I really like the Gear Sector mount, it's about as slick as it gets.

I'm using the factory thumb screw on a .308 and haven't had issues with it. It's only been a couple hundred rounds but I've got witness marks and it hasn't budged.

ETA pic. It's tucked in tight and the photo is a bit deceiving but the bezel isn't touching the rifle.

Before you suggest that licensing, background checks, or other restrictions for the 2nd Amendment are reasonable... Apply those same ideas to the 1st and 4th Amendments. Then tell me how reasonable they are.

Gear sector is good, but the thorntail gets it a bit more out of the way.

Surefire RM45 is my go to for offset. It tucks in the light the closest to the rail of all the mounts I've used/seen.
