Tone down gas to the face with suppressed SBR

Mods if in the wrong place please more, I place the thread here for more foot traffic.

Have my first SBR and while the gas is not bad I would like to improve it some how. I'm aware of Gemtech and Griffin's products but Gemtech works ti seems. I don't like having to take the bolt out to switch, but I understand why it's on that side.

I was thinking about a heavier buffer possible?

SLR adjustable gas block. Set it so that the gun (barely) runs un-suppressed with the weakest ammo you have, and then you don't ever need to touch it again.

Also, either get a Gasbuster handle, or search for the RTV charging handle mod.

Gas face is dependent on bolt speed, port size gas system length and suppressor design.

Which buffer are you using and where are empties ejecting to?

How big is the gas port?

I have 2 11.5 5.56 guns that I shoot suppressed and left handed. One has an LMT enhanced carrier and its much more pleasant to shoot.

If you are left handed, none of the gas port, gas system, bolt magic or charging handles will work. The majority of it will come back down the bore and out the ejection port right into your face on every cycle of the bolt.

Your reloads and gas port size both seem reasonable for use with an H2 buffer.

I'd swap that CAR for an H2.

Leave the other one in the bin.
