Nodak Spud Upper on a Anderson Lower

About to send in my paperwork to SBR my Anderson lower. Does anyone know if a Nodak Spud Slab Side upper will fit it? Planning on doing a XM-177ish rifle.

I'm running a Anderson lower on an original Colt 9mm slab side upper with small pin adapter no issues. New nodak spud upper small pin and Anderson shouldn't be a problem.

I have a question, why are you not using a Nodak Spud partial fence lower to go with the slabside upper? That is what would be correct for the XM177. An A2 lower is not correct for any version of the XM177. I understand that it is a XM177-ish build, but why not have it look as correct as possible? If you want something that looks more correct with the A2 lower, get an A1 upper and do a XM177E2 version. They use a 11.5" barrel with the moderator.

I'm using a Anderson lower because I have it laying around not being used and I figured that I do one one the old school 11.5" uppers like you see in the movie HEAT just because it would only cost me $200 more than $350 more. (I'm being cheap)

Are you at least sure the lower is within specs? Anderson doesn't have that good of a reputation.

It works with my Colt M16A1 upper which is a real colt upper fits, i have no clue. Are Nodak Spup uppers know for highly accurate recreations of original colts?

Nodak Spud receivers are about as good as they come. Mike and Harlan have spent a lot of time over the years on creating the forgings, doing the milling, and the finishing in order to make their receivers top-notch. They rival any original Colt, H&R, or GM Hydramatic M16 receivers.
