    Retro XM177ish build

So here is my latest completed build. I've actually had the original sling kit for over 30 years, the rest was aquired much more recently. I used Brownell's oven cure dark park to try and match the finish of an original.

Could you upload a better photo? It looks cool in low res. but I kinda want to see it all.

Not much better I'm afraid. I did change the delta ring to the original style.

I really like retro builds that use quality "guts". Very sharp sir!

When will the range report be along?

    Thanks.

Probably shortly after my next range trip. Don't know when I'll have time for that this month. I've got a few graduations to go to this month for 3 of my nieces and helping my son get moved/settled on his return from Quantico to Houston. Then there's the whole going to work thing and keeping the missus happy by attending to the honey do list.

Looks nice. Really like the look of the hand guards to the finish.

Plus, that 80% looks pretty awesome, glad it turned out well for you.

Nice build. Please tell me where you found the CAR length triangular handguards. I've been looking for a set.
