How far have you driven for NFA goods waiting on paperwork?

Hey folks...I've got Monday and Tuesday off and just wondering if it'd be worth my time to drive an hour and a half to visit my Recce 7? Yes it's my first can. How far have you gone to visit your can while it's in jail and was it worth your time?

How far have you driven for a conjugal visit?

20 miles for one that was F3'd. Can't say it was really worth it but it's nice to handle it, take pics, or whatever else.

I've driven over an hour to purchase one but I never went back till the F4 was approved.

what else are you gonna do on your days off? At least if you do, you will know how much you like your Recce 7. That was my first can as well. I have a few other 308 cans in NFA jail, but I do really like my Recce 7.
I'd say yes, go put a case of ammo thru it.

Pretty sure they don't have a range, but I'll find out. If I can shoot it, I will no doubt pay out it a visit!

My dealer is literally a block and a half away and is also a member of my gun club but I never did once visit my stuff in the 3-4 months he had it. Out of sight out of mind and too busy with family stuff I guess.

ok yeah If the dealer didn't have a range, I'd drive an hour to check it out, assuming they have lots of other cool stuff to check out as well. Plus find other gun shops on the way to check out.

Never visited one of mine, unless I was there to pick something else up.

Never bought one in person, and have never even seen one of my cans prior to purchase or seen an F4 before it had the stamp attached. Only time I go to dealer is to pick one up or have something engraved.

Fairly low maintenance for my dealer.

I never visited anything...Just paid for it and went back when the forms were in.

Seems like a waste of time, but that's just me.

    Agreed.

My first SBR was bought at a store that had a range. I had no desire to shoot it till I could take it home. I didn't even take a look at it when I went there to shoot.

An hour and a half to fingerbang... nah.

Yeah, I checked... No range. I'll wait till the stamp comes in. Thanks
