How far have you driven for NFA goods waiting on paperwork?

My dealer is not even 10 minutes away from my house. Never went over to visit my can when it was just sitting there. Didn't see a reason to until my stamp came in.

I've never visited a can. That seems ridiculous, even to shoot it. What's the point?

What do you do for the extra 100 miles?

I've never driven more than 75 miles (each way) to even pick one up. Any further than that and they can just ship it to me.

I could easily find an NFA dealer a few miles away, but he's my friend.

I suppose I "visited" my can this evening. My dealer is only 20 minutes away and my reason for visit was to just grab the Silencerco Trifecta mount and flash hider. I'm going to send it back to Silencerco to exchange for the ASR mounting system. Didn't even bother asking to look at the other can.

Other than that, I don't plan on going back until the stamps are approved.

Turns out I'm going thru town where it's at on Saturday. I'll probably stop and grab the taper mount so I can get that installed anyway. I't only 75 miles and it's the halfway point to my destination.
