The closed tine ones won't ring but they also diminish flash a little less than the open tine ones.

Did you just "grab" that off there site? or were you on "backorder" ?

No it was in stock when I ordered it and have a shipping notification. Looks like it was the last one because I tried to grab 2 and 1 would have been back ordered.

Received my closed tine Warcomp from Surefire yesterday. I was surprised to receive a UPS delivery alert from them. I forgot what I ordered because it had been 7 months since I placed the order.

Congrats!, I've been on BO for one since April, but I haven't received any notification? I guess I missed out?

Google "warcomp-556-ctn" with the quotation marks. One of the first sites listed might have it in stock. It doesn't say that it's out of stock so might be best to call first.
