Main things to look for other than fit obviously is cushioning for the ride and being held secure from bouncing. I'd stay away from the ones that the strap is connected at the top on one side causing it to be at an angle when strapped down and don't have much cushion. Legs on both sides for the straps are much better providing more even tension. Also more of a "U" shape instead of a "V" style will give you some more width. We have not had any issues with these for any of our guns or bows and they are not real expensive either. The adjustability is a really nice feature on these.
