    6.8 SPR Hunter

One question: why is your offset MRDS so far forward?

Believe none of what you hear, and half of what you see.

I like the camo scheme you have going on.

Any successful hunts with it yet? What ammo are you having the best luck with?

Somebody is still sensitive from Orlando.... cough Crunchy cough....
Notorious ar15, yes actually! 3 deer last season. Best ammo is 120 Hornady SST for me. Full penetration and when zeroed, it had about a .8" group. Not the best size of my ammo selection, but it had the best BC and weight. Bacon Six Actual, I was new to building and didn't think it made a difference, plus it was a bbit of an afterthought so i just went the easy way out by putting the picatinny section somewhere accessible vice taking off the handguard :/

I have killed a LOT of deer and hogs over the last 7 years with 6.8s and ran pretty much every factory load and handloaded bullets.
If I am running factory ammo I run the 120SST, if I am handloading I do the 95TTSX.

    Great hunting round.. have fun!

Built my son up one last year..
He got both of these within minutes of each other at 200 yards..
