Friday at the Range. This Friday was task driven. I needed to reset the elevation and Zero stop on the Steiner Military M5xi 5-25x56mm thst i had miss adjusted in round 1.
With the help of a good friend who is a mechanical engineer figured it out about the same time that SteinerTech support called back. Tech support was great
Once zeroed, I boxed the scope. It tracked within the error of non march freedom mumitions ammo and a 10-15mph cross wind.
The rifle is a POF P-416 with a16" barrel.
The optic is available from Third Coast Thermal.
The suppressor is a GemTech Trek Ti and it is covered by a Rifles Only HAD suppressor cover.
The ammo was Freedom Munitions 55gr reman.
Yes. We had two cool watches and cigars for the Range. A Rolex Milgaus 116400GV and Seiko SKX diver.
You can see the elevation turret with the indicator only its 2nd revolution.
Note, these are not the greatest groups. However, i believe they are within the margin of error for the ammo and conditions.
Non match Freedom Munitions 55gr fmj reman
10-15mph full value wind
The squares are 3/4" not 1"
Old school smokes and the Rolex Milgaus 116400GV
Remington 700 in 223 in a Bell and Carlson M40 stock. There is a Crux Archangel on the muzzle.
