I've heard and read far too many horror stories about Tapco mags to spend my money on them. Pmags and usgi mags are pretty much gtg for my buck.

The D&H mag should be good. If youre zeroed at 25 youre gonna shoot high at 100. If the target is small you may not hit paper at 100, your rounds will impact high.

Get a good metal GI type magazine and see if it corrects the feeding issues. You can purchase other magazines at a later date.

Sight your carbine to hit 1" low at 25 yards and that will get you on paper at 100 yards.

    -Clean and lube it. Liberally.
-Pick one type of ammo and use it until you're zeroed in.
-Use a quality magazine as noted above. (Cheap Tapco/CAA junk is not quality)
-Pick a zero'ing distance and stick with it until you're solid. If you didn't get it at 25 yds, it sounds like things just got worse at 100.
-Zeroing needs to be done on a bench. Not just for you, but everyone.
This guy has sound advice. +1 on anything Magpul. -1 on anything Nikon. Good luck.
