    Midwest Industries Gen 4 handguards

When you think of Midwest Industries, what first comes to mind? If you’re one of our long-time customers, there’s a good chance you think of our handguards! As the black rifle market continues to evolve, our handguard models continue to adapt with the times. This fourth-generation free float AR-15 handguard is packed with features perfectly suited for your next build project!

The G4M is available in 10.5”, 12.625”, 13.375”, 14”, and 15” lengths, each featuring seven sides of M-Lok™ slots and a continuous MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny top rail. A heat-treated 4140 steel barrel nut and patented torque plate design ensure your handguard maintains a rock-solid lockup for years to come.

With five integral anti-rotation QD sling sockets, the slim external profile of the G4M handguard measures out at a maximum 1.5” outside diameter. This svelte design weighs as little as 8.8 ounces, allowing you to keep your rifle lightweight and mobile.

Looks great. I am in need for one of these. Would a 14.5 with a surefire so com rc2 fit with the 14 inch rail?

I love MI Rails but would like to see it like one of your older offerings where there were partial picatinny rails at 12 o'clock position and mlok slots between.

we have a newer version than the G3 and it has a lighter installed weight because it comes with titanium hardware.

I always hate to answer that question because not every barrel that says 14.5 really is.
You will need to put your barrel in your upper and actually measure. Our handguard is exactly 14" off the face of your upper receiver.

I have used quite a few of the newer rails in my shop already but prefer the older one with the additional built in QD mounts.

What makes this a Gen 4? What's new with the design?
You are a genuine toolbag if you have your EDC "loadout" in your signature line...

We basically took the G3M series body and upgraded them to the new COMBAT RAIL attachment and torque plate. Its a super easy to install and bullet proof design.

    Thanks
