Wear an eye patch on left eye while shooting or just tape left lens of his glasses - shoot enough like this and he'll correct. But he has to shoot A LOT like this.

I am cross eye dominant and just deal with it and the occasional brass to face.

I'm cross dominant and find it's an advantage. I've worked with my right eye long enough that I can use either eye. It also makes it easier to use either hand. Only issues I run into are skeet and wing shooting. As long as I don't get too rusty I overcome those issues pretty good.

Tape advice as above is good.
Eye patch can work, but usually gets ignored.

If that's what he wants to do. My father in law is cross dominant as well. He chose to shoot hand guns right handed and shotguns/rifles left handed. If I'm using my right hand I use my right eye and left hand, left eye etc.
