A set worth posting. 0-1 steel and Desert Ironwood handles.

Steel is 0-1 and wood is Desert Ironwood. The rustic feel if these is really what I was hoping for. Can't wait to see these with patina from kitchen use. I haven't posted a while but had to share these lookers. They already have a lived in feel that I love with my gear. And these kitchen knives I consider gear

    Oh my....

Are the blades coated, blued, or "natural"? Can't really tell on my phone.

    Just outstanding, btw.

They are etched in ferric chloride to darken them. It gives a good base for patina to set in on.

Well it's a very good looking set using that method even without patina.

I use 0-1 and use the ferric to aid in surface protection. It works well.
