Love the 20" ers.
My 4th AR I decided for a simple stupid 20". Decided on a complete BCM. It now has a carry handle instead of mbus and its just a pleasure. Was going to upgrade the receiver to the A5, but honestly it is perfectly fine and smooth with the standard carbine receiver and bcm h buffer. Maybe eventually.
It's my wife's favorite gun to shoot and one of mine too.
I actually like it. The wood is nicely figured and finished, but not so much that it looks like it doesn't belong. Hey, if they can put plastic and camo on Beretta shotguns, we can put a nice piece of satin walnut on a long stick AR.
Very nicely done.

I used Watco Danish Oil for the finish. I then applied Feed-N-Wax conditioner/polish (Beeswax and Orange Oil). There was no fitting required. They pre-fit everything. There is some final sanding and buffing that has to be done before applying the finish. Ironwood Designs has detailed instructions on their website as well as recommended sanding and finishing products and techniques.
