    Right but if I was going to the 9inch barrel, I would get a new one. I can still run the suppressor on the 16inch couldnt I

    Does running just a suppressor require the engraving? I don't think it does but wanted to confirm

    No. Your can will already be engraved. You don't need to add anything else.
