Thanks folks for pursuing these updates and other information. I'm as anxious as everyone else.

Does or has anyone have any idea as to what the pricing will be like on these?

It has been mentioned by many that they are going to be around $3K. Of course, that has not been substantiated as of yet. If this is what they will be listed for, they will certainly not sell well. Only the wealthy Colt guys will be able to afford them. I will stick to building my clones using as many original parts as possible.

$3,000 is indeed steep. That's the price of a nice and early SP1.
I'll be curious to see what they will be listed for and what (if any) goodies will come with them.
if you take the original price i paid back in 1977 for mine ($155.93 with tax) the cost is $610 today. what is colt smoking. heck the original price in 1963 was $150 and that today is $1200, yes colt is being unreasonable.

I've ruled out buying an XM177 / GAU5/5A. It's tempting (if reasonable in price) but I've already got a clone in the works that's awaiting the SBR stamp.
If they do a rifle (20" barrel) AND the twist is better than 1-12" then I might consider that but if they are so exorbitantly priced I'll rule that out too.
