Hello, I am Saber Smith and I am posting this as my first thread and introduction as well as posting my build details in hopes to get some help and feedback on my parts and progress. Below is a list I currently own and below that will be parts I plan on purchasing soon. I have some questions and believe I will have more along the way.

Already Purchased / Never Used:

- Anderson Lower
- Bravo Company LPK
- Oregon Rifle Works Upper
- Bravo Company Gunfighter Charging Handle
- SSA Stock and Buffer Assembly Kit

Planning On Purchasing:

- Bravo Company BCG
- Palmetto State Premium 14.5" Barrel with Fixed Steel Sight
- Bravo Flash Supressor
- Magpul Fore Grip
- Carry Handle

I need some advice on what grease to use when putting the Castle Nut and Barrel Nut on? Do you use the same grease or two different kinds?

I am seriously thinking about doing a SBR with an 8-10" barrel and Sig Brace or similar but I am too confused about the law. Would love to have one for my vehicle though. It's not too late to make the adjustment so I am curious what experiences people have had with their Non Tax Stamped SBR variants?

Given the parts and project I have laid out please don't be afraid to comment or critique if you see I am making any foreseeable mistakes.

You can use aeroshell grease for both the barrel nut and castle nut. As far as the sbr, laws are different depending on where you live.

To all concerned.

The custom build area is a place to show off/discuss and ask questions and get feedback about your completed custom build (this means a completed AR that is functional and already completed). If you are going to post pictures of your build, please post a complete picture not just your parts, partial lowers, etc....

Also, buying an upper separate and then a lower and throwing them together does not constitute a custom build. It would be nice if you took time to explain how you came to your decision and explain your set up. Thanks.
