Have any of you found shifts in zero by changing your lower from the existing lower to a new one? If so, what has been your experience? I would think that it would not affect zero much if any, however, I'm not certain.

No, swapping lowers has no effect on zero

3rd that ^^
4th that with one caveat, you may not shoot it the same due to the trigger, grip, stock or any combination of the three.

Mechanically there is no way swapping lowers will change zero
Optic is mounted to receiver which locks barrel via barrel nut....lower has nothing to do with this
All the Lower is doing is putting pin to primer and assisting feeding next round.
Practically with human error and buffer/stock/trigger differences is a whole different story

Yes true, all happening after the projectile exits the barrel
I could be wrong, however I don't see how a lower could possibly change poi
If someone wants to chronograph an AR with different buffer weights and somehow there's a velocity difference then that would account for a change

Preload happens before the projectile exits the bore. Lash can be less or more of a constant with the dimensional changes in a lower for that upper statically and dynamically. Lash results are basic movement or momentum, just add those up in either extreme of your lash present for your preload.
If you are interested, we can look into these sub groups some more and more if you like.
