Absolutely. I would not change my plan to Unlimited just to receive the Disney+ promo.
But since I already had the Unlimited plan I figured that I would give it a go.

New game coming out in October, Star Wars: Squadrons. Single-player will alternate between Imperial and New Republic campaigns. Going to be a sort of modern take on the X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter series. And they dropped a short CG video with the game's Imperial squadron leader as the protagonist:

I saw that. But I bet he ends up switching sides to the Rebellion as a hackeneyed “redemption arc”.

Naw man, I loved TIE fighter in the 90s. I hate how they force you to think the Empire are the bad guys.

I want a campaign game where you are a faceless guy who joined the Stormtroopers. And it’s sorta like COD during the WWII era when it was worth a damn. You go on this drawn out tour of duty on a disputed planet. At some point, after you do well enough, you get to be part of a space VBSS.

I always thought that the Stormtroopers were white because they fight in space. I wanna fight in Zero G. I want a moon battle. I want a jungle war. An unapologetic and unironic pro Imperial storyline.

Like you’re fighting Wookies or some such and TIE Bombers are dropping snake and nape. And like during the battle Sabaton’s Camouflage starts blaring.

And like you get to be a Dark Trooper and do a daring raid on an embassy in Coruscant with Space MP5s.

For all we know, Titan Squadron joins the First Order or goes to Exegol and joins the Last Order (I hate both these names) and/or the Sith Eternal (I also hate this name and everything that happened in the sequel trilogy). Gotta leave things open for sequels and prequels and shit.

I was literally coming here to post that.
    Also;

I miss games with choice (or at least, an illusion of it). Like, I want a legit dual-faction conflicting campaign game where the choices you make as each faction in each mission change the outcome of the game as it progresses. Complete X mission objective as Imp/Reb, make X choices with dialogue/relationships, and watch the mission parameters/available paths/story outcomes change as it goes. THAT would be a star wars game for the ages...

I also want a legit Clone Wars live action series; like, I want to see Tier 1 clone operators operating operationally. Band of Brothers; Clone Wars edition, not the funky cartoon stuff. The old "Galactic Warfighters" photos hit pretty close to that vibe...

Also a legit "Rebels" series, but in the theme of Game of Thrones/Strike Back. There is SO much more to play with in the Star Wars universe than just finding ways to market kids' toys. There were brief flashes of potential in both Solo and TLJ that hinted at the "other side" of Star Wars, and then...nothing happened.
Like, I'm actually kind of glad that the "rebel spy" series that was going to star Cassian from R1 got nixed, because we all know it would never have gotten as dark and 'adult' as it needed to, to really 'hit' the subject matter. Even the Mandalorian is sort of... "okay", but you know you're never going to really get that 'gritty spaghetti western' vibe that it needs to really hit full potential.
Why the heck couldn't HBO have bought Lucasfilm instead of MausHaus....

Maybe someday the pro-Imperial side will be covered with a well-done Thrawn series/game/etc?
Lol, nah, who am I kidding...

That's the rub... Star Wars's primary moneymaker has always been licensing and merch. Lucas could drop a log, stamp that 8-letter logo on it and some cultist would pay top dollar for it.

Pretty sure I got all but the last tattoo in the bonus objective substory. Maybe I got the last one, but I think I was always frustrated coming up short.
Did you have the Maarek Stele paperback book that came with TIE Fighter? We got that right as I hit the teens, our PC was about 3-4 years slow most of the time. But, that forced me to learn how to overclock.

I just want to point out that the latest episode of The Mandalorian has done a lot to explain why Din Djarin and his sect of Mandos always wear their helmets while the Mandos in The Clone Wars and Rebels do/did not.

My daughter and I were both like, “Aha! well that makes sense.” Good episode too.
