Having a single Star Wars thread when there is already one for TFA and RO will simply not due. This does not even take into account that Disney is releasing a new Star Wars movie every year until 2020, being added to all the time.

It would really really really suck donkey balls to have to scroll through a 200 + page thread every time a new trailer is released or a film is launched.

    I totally agree.

If there's any subject that should only have one thread, it's Trump & Hillary.

I pretty much like just about everything about Star Wars. All the movies: The original movie, the original trilogy, the Special Editions, the prequels, the whacky The Clone Wars cartoon, the less whacky The Clone Wars CGI show, Rebels, the sequel, every game I've played from Star Wars Chess to TIE Fighter and Dark Forces to The Old Republic and even Uprising.

I think there are things they could have done better, but I've enjoyed all of it.

You have to dig through 200+ pages in the TFA and Rogue One threads?

All you have to do is view "first unread" and then scroll down to read through everything that's been written since you last read the thread. If there's a video that just came out which you want to rewatch, you can just go to the last page of the thread and then backtrack a page or two to reach it. Or you could just Google it (or Youtube it).

Are we merging all the other Star Wars threads into this one?

Yup.. The fuzzy bears ruined the series IMHO. All of the following movies were just designed more for the kiddies.

I think it ought to be everything Star Wars not-directly-related to a movie.

So video games, TV shows, comics, books, &c. The movies can have their own specific threads.

(Obviously, I'm not a mod, so my word is not law. Just seems to be a happy compromise between putting everything in one thread and having threads for everything.)

Who remembers playing the stand up video game back in 83?

And I remember thinking Tron was hard to beat.

    Stand up?

I remember the sit down cabinets. I thought that was the most high edge game ever. It felt like I was the last starfighter.

I vaguely remember something like that, but I think it was in a Windows 3.1.1-based emulator or something. Might have been Win95, but I don't think so. Obviously quite a while after you would have played it.

I'm not sure if my first Star Wars game was TIE Fighter (and at that time I also played Dark Forces) or Super Return of the Jedi for Gameboy.
