Sons of Liberty Gun Works 16" Mid Length CHF barrel

I'm interested in the Sons of Liberty Gun Works 16" Mid Length CHF Barrel. I like mid weight barrels and the fact that this is a cold hammer forged barrel. Any idea if it is an FN barrel with double chrome lining ?

From the picture on the website it looks like it is a mid weight barrel (similar to Colt SOCOM profile ?) up until after the gas block where it tapers into a lighter profile.

Also, could any one tell me what size gas port this uses ? I am trying to decide between one of these and another Noveske 16" CHF mid legnth. I'm trying to find something with a smaller gas port if possible though.

They are on m4c regularly. I'd hit their main thread, or just pm the "SOLGW" member name.

Could you tell us more about the profile of these barrels ? Are they USGI profile under the handguard area or thicker than USGI in that area ?

    It's a medcon barrel.
.750 journal, but tapers towards the muzzle.
