I took a deer last year with my 16 inch 6.8, running an AAC 762SD. I'm toying with the idea of running the same load (110 grn pro hunter) out of my 11.5 inch SBR with the can this year...Most whitetail shots here are about 100 yards

That can't be true in East Texas. Just look at all the Whitetail Hunters that use 300 Win mags in the woods . . . lol.

Though it does get heavy at times, I usually hunt with a suppressor attached. The electronic ears are pretty neat, and I wear them sometimes, but after a while they drive me bonkers, particularly if it's windy out.

I'd like to be able to put the can on when seated or in the stand, and take it off when stalking. My biggest complaint is zero shift between suppressed and un-suppressed, though it's less of an issue with my LMT MWS 16", probably because the barrel is so heavy and rigid.

I know, I know...know your dope and adjust. I just hate having doubts about an adjusted zero while I'm trying to fill the freezer.

    I'm using a Specwar762 on a 16" LMT MWS, and on 12.5" and 16" 6.8x43's
