The SCAR-17 makes the 762 NATO ACE the cheap option, as does an original Galil.

Not when you factor in the cost of magazines for that original 7.62 Galil.

I think he was saying that the Galil ACE is a cheap option compared to the SCAR or the legacy Galil.
