Some Pics To Share

I thought I would share some pics of some AK's and variants from the sandbox. The first one is an original AK47 rifle from 1955. Notice that the original stock is missing and how different the rear of the receiver is from more modern AK's. The bolt and op rod do not match the serial number of the weapon, however the action spring does.

The next weapon is a Yugoslavian M70AB2 rifle. It's in very good condition and was manufactured in 1986. All the numbers match on this one. Wish I could get these bad boys into CONUS, they would be well worth it. Enjoy.

That first one is a Type 2, the first all milled receiver rifle, they manufactured those from about 1951-1953 or so.........that's one of the latest Type 2's I've seen! The Type 1's were half stamped, half milled and the Soviets couldn't really get the stamping technology right, so they went to an all milled receiver until 1959.

That rifle is 53 years old, bet it has a lot of stories.

I have a type 1 AK47 made in 1951. It's in need of some TLC and some new furniture. You should see that milled receiver AK's I have here from Bulgaria and Russia. They are in prety damn good shape. However, the stocks were removed and I had to replace them with TAPCO M4 style milled receiver stocks.

I also have a 1961 Polish underfolder that is good shape as well. I am collecting as many pics as I can for future use.

I like the look of the grooves on that Yugo's handguard. I've never seen anything like that.

That was actually done by one of the guards from Fiji who was using it at one point.
