Surefire Socom MB556

Whats with the long lead times on Surefire socom muzzle breaks? They told me 2-3 months when I called to order my MB556. If demand is that high you would think they would get more equipment to manfacture them or contract out some of the work, if they are not already. Profit has to be pretty good. Anyone else wait this long for theirs?

Also have a Warden on backorder.

I just checked my big three wholesale suppliers and they are out of stock on every single SF brake. You might want to try Gunbroker, lots of people bought lots of stuff expecting to sell it during the Great Clinton Gun Sale.

I normally just read post, but could not find anything on surefires backorders and was just curious if anyone knew why there were so long. Seams odd to have to wait that long for a muzzle break.

I know this is pretty much a zombie thread, but I placed an order with Surefire on 11/14/16 for a black one. Seems they are backordered at least four months. I just contacted SF, and they told me they expect my Warden to ship sometime in the near future. I really am looking forward to it, as I have been getting some crap from my local RSOs about the noise from the brake. I picked up a Colt 14.5" barrel, and I will be pinning the SOCOM 556 and I think the Warden will help keep the noise down. Not from the rifle, but from the snowflakes that think it is too loud for them, especially those who don't wear ears unless they are on the firing line. I'll let you guys know when it arrives, just to give those thinking about getting one what the lead time will be.
